Becci joined the Foundation in January 2014 as Head of Marketing and Creative. Prior to this she was the Head of Marketing at HC MedSpa, a chain of luxury skin clinics, overseeing the branding of joint ventures between large retail partners such as Selfridges and Marks and Spencers. Her career started at BRE (Building Research Establishment) in Watford where she studied for her Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma.
Becci’s initial project was to manage the repositioning of the Foundation, updating the charity’s brand with a new logo, website and marketing material. Her responsibilities include communications, press and media. She works closely with the CEO on fundraising, business development to expand existing services and create partnerships with other local businesses and charities.
What do you like best about working for the Foundation?
“The thing I enjoy most about working for The Counselling Foundation is the rewarding feeling you receive being here; knowing that by getting our message out there, we can help people suffering from emotional distress become aware of our services and access low cost, quality counselling. It’s become my mission to remove the stigma of mental health in our communities and get the public to be more open and positive about the topic. Counselling is a life changing experience and I believe every one should try it.”
