Saturday 24 June 2017 – 10am – 4pm – The Counselling Foundation Training Centre – St Albans

With guest speaker: Ruth Culver, an integrative clinical hypnotherapist.

Do you want a more loving, healthy relationship with yourself and others?

This experiential one day workshop will reveal the hidden dynamics in a family and how early bonding and childhood experiences leave imprints on mind, body and personality.  This affects our ability to trust ourselves, and impacts all our later relationships with partners, children, siblings, colleagues and friends as well as our health and choices in life.

Based on the work of psychotherapist, Bert Hellinger Constellation work which is an effective therapeutic process that helps to break destructive family patterns of unhappiness, with many of us unconsciously “taking on” destructive family patterns of anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, loneliness, alcoholism and even illness as a way of “belonging” in our families.

Through Identity Constellations we begin to recognise the ‘survival strategies’ that have been running us and holding us back. Through this workshop we will learn how to break these patterns so that you can live healthier, happier, more fulfilled lives. This approach draws from a number of other modalities, including Gestalt therapy, psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapy, hyponotherapy and systemic family therapy

The explorations allow us to access and integrate our unconscious feelings and our real needs.  We begin to know and trust ourselves more deeply, enabling us to build our ‘healthy self’, gradually becoming more self sufficient and creating healthier relationships.
