Branching out to Clapham, South London, The Counselling Foundation brings Counselling Training opportunities for anyone looking to study psychodynamic counselling.
The Counselling Foundation have recognised a gap in counselling training courses available in London for those looking to study counselling at an introduction level. Given the popularity of the accessible short counselling skills course to those locally, the Foundation are offering a wider audience the chance to benefit from the counselling training course.
With as many as 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health problem each year in the UK this basic counselling skills course is invaluable, especially for those in private or public health, nursing, caring, counselling, mental health, teaching, mentoring, guidance, customer services, human resources, management, or pastoral areas.
This Introduction to Counselling course is stand-alone, so it is beneficial if you are looking to gain self awareness, or also if you are considering a change of career to counselling or if you are working in a role where skills for active listening and dealing effectively and in a helpful manner with difficult or distressed people are required.
This part-time 12 hour counselling course over 4 weeks costs £250 and is open to anyone looking to use counselling skills within their current job or for anyone who would eventually like to re-train or have a career in giving a counselling service to clients in their own practice.
The course may inspire you to go on and study our professional part-time psychodynamic counselling courses which are Post-Graduate and Masters level psychotherapy training programmes which are endorsed and accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
