Where: Lambeth College, Clapham Centre, 45 Clapham Common South Side,  London, SW4 9BL

Discover a 12 hour weekday evening basic counselling skills course over 4 weeks | 6pm – 9pm

Ideal for those looking to study counselling at an introduction level.  Given the popularity of our accessible, short counselling skills course to those in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, the Foundation is offering those in London the chance to benefit from our training course.

This Introduction to Counselling course is beneficial if you are looking to gain self awareness, or also if you are considering a change of career to counselling.  Or you may work in a role where skills for active listening and the need to support distressed people effectively are required.

With as many as 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health problem each year in the UK this stand-alone counselling skills course is invaluable, especially for those in private or public health, nursing, caring, counselling, mental health, teaching, mentoring, guidance, customer services, human resources, management, or pastoral areas.

The course may inspire you to go on and study our professional part-time psychodynamic counselling courses which are Post-Graduate and Masters level psychotherapy training programmes which are endorsed and accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
